Join us as we host Wallace J. Nichols, author of "Blue Mind: The surprising science that shows how being near, in, on, or under water can make you happier, more connected, and better at what you do."
Dr. Nichols will talk about his exciting new book and how much we all benefit from being near bodies of water like the ocean.

July 23, 2014: Film and Lecture Series: Angel Azul
Angel Azul is a documentary film that tells the story of one artist's inspiring attempt to draw attention to the perilous situation coral reefs currently face worldwide. Through the hauntingly beautiful lure of an eco-sculptors's life-like underwater statues, we witness the birth of an artificial coral reef, learn how we are all connected to the ocean, and how the choices we make today will determine what we leave to future generations.
