Thank you to the volunteers of all ages who helped clean up Aquatic Park for Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Saturday, January 14! With your help, we removed nearly 55 pounds of trash from SF Maritime National Historical Park, and kept it from becoming marine debris polluting San Francisco Bay, and eventually the Pacific Ocean. Check out a few great photos below.

Help us keep the momentum going! We’re gearing up for our next cleanup in celebration of Earth Day on April 22 at Aquatic Park to show our appreciation for planet earth. For more information and registration details, please visit; or sign up for our newsletter to stay informed.

If you find something interesting, learn a valuable lesson, or even just have a great time, tell us about it! Tweet about your beach cleanup experience using the hashtag #SavingTomorrow for a chance to win 2 tickets for a Behind-the-Scenes tour at Aquarium of the Bay.
