RESONANCE CLIMATE CONCERT

As the world gathers in the UAE for the historic United Nations COP28 Climate Summit in December 2023, a Climate Concert will be held at Dubai Opera in solidarity with the message of Sustainability and Climate Resilience hosted by San Francisco based non-profit BayEcotarium jointly with UNCCD. The BayEcotarium is in the transformation stages into the world’s most comprehensive data driven living climate museum.

Multiple Grammy Winners led by the legendary founder and drummer of THE POLICE band, Stewart Copeland will be performing multi-platinum hits in orchestral renditions (POLICE DERANGED) with Dubai-based Firdaus all-female Orchestra. UN Goodwill ambassador and 3X Grammy Winner Dr. Ricky Kej will take the stage with award-winning talent to engage the audience with a musical tribute to our Blue Planet, Climate Change mitigation and Global Peace, as part of the Opening Act. Featured appearances would include Anuradha Juju and Master of Ceremonies Tariq Qureishy and BBC Anchor Lukwesa Burak.

The BayEcotarium is the largest non-profit watershed organization in San Francisco with seven institutions and a staff of 200, united under one mission to protect and conserve the San Francisco Bay Area ecosystems. Human impact, pollution, climate and environmental changes have put a strain on the ecological balance, prompting advocacy and awareness towards preserving the natural environment for future generations.     7X Grammy Winner and Legendary founder and drummer of THE POLICE band. Stewart Copeland will be performing multi-platinum hits including Roxanne, Don’t Stand Too Close to Me, and Message in a Bottle, in orchestral renditions (POLICE DERANGED) sung by four singers and accompanied by the all-women Firdaus Orchestra.

    Anuradha Juju Palakurthi organized the groundbreaking Hollywood-Bollywood concert in July 2020, streamed on CNN Live, which raised funds for 10 million vaccinations for India. The featured artists included Sting, Liam Neeson, Shabana Azmi, Katrina Kaif, and many more. Anuradha was the winner of Radio Mirchi’s Song of the Year in 2020 for “Jaan Meri,” making her the first US nominee to clinch the honor, akin to an Indian Grammy. She was featured alongside Bappi Lahiri and Vishal Shekhar on the Filmfare award-winning show, Times of Music.

    Anuradha serves as the Chairperson of MIT’s Heritage Arts of South Asia (MITHAS), dedicated to the promotion of South Asian culture through music and arts and hosts the weekly TV Asia show, “Jukebox With Juju”.

    George Jacob asked Juju Productions to craft the theme song “Chal Phir Sajaayein” for the UN COP 28 concert in Dubai. It was recorded with the 101-piece Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the iconic Abbey Road Studios, London. The lyrics were created by Neelesh Misra and was composed by Ricky Kej.
