Online learning:
Plastic Free Campus
Plastic Free Campus is a completely free online global program open to all! The goal is to inspire and empower students, schools, and communities to improve their practices tackling plastic pollution worldwide. They’ve found ways to help get creative, have fun, and work together as a team to tackle this tough global problem.
There are two main ways you can get involved:
- Social Media Campaign
-
- Eyes on Plastic Campaign: Get your whole family, class, or school involved with this one week-long plastic waste audit and then get creative. Share your results with Plastic Free Campus and the Aquarium of the Bay and help inspire others to participate too!
- If you’re interested, please email us at [email protected] for more information and links.
- Learning Modules:
-
- Plastic Free Campus offers 6 online modules designed for middle and high school students but younger students, with adult support, can also participate. These modules empower students to reduce plastic waste at their school through research, negotiation, and teamwork. The first Module provides step by step instructions for how to recruit your Eco-Crew and get started. Once you finish the first module, you can complete the others in any order. Register your school with Plastic Free Campus, and see your progress and be rewarded with a nautilus certificate when you complete all 6 modules. They will also save your work for reference if your school decides to participate again in the future.
